Looking back over yet another outstanding Fellows program, I am truly honored to be a part of the Institute’s growth and evolution. We launched the program in early 2012 with the objective of accelerating executive and entrepreneurial talent into the cleantech and advanced energy industries. Our Fellows have heard from hundreds of speakers, they have been welcomed into countless laboratories and energy facilities and they’ve been provided with hundreds of hours of content. All of this is possible because of our remarkable team of staff, volunteers, partners and corporate sponsors.
Looking Ahead to 2015
As we look ahead to the 2015 program, we are pleased to announce that we are adjusting the delivery of the program. In 2015, the curriculum will be condensed into a one-week “sprint” course. We will kick the program off on a Sunday evening and then offer five intense days of curriculum. Just as in previous years, we will provide both classroom seminar sessions, combined with tours and meetings with cleantech and energy leaders located across the Front Range. We will provide insight into six energy technology areas along with foundational market discussions.
We have seen great interest in the EFI program over the last three years, but a 16 or 8-week schedule can be very challenging for potential Fellows. We believe that a condensed program will offer an opportunity for additional participants to take part in the Institute and we are excited to roll out the condensed curriculum in late February. We will announce our June dates for the program soon.
Thank you all for your ongoing support and we look forward to an exciting 2014.
Mary Austin, Managing Director, EFI
